Presenters must be Bermudian, does not have to be an academic, but presentations must be either new/recent research or a fresh application of existing research. Original ideas are, of course, welcome.

Presenter Guidelines & Policies By submitting your proposal/entry form, you consent to these terms and conditions for participating in ThinkFest 2019, if accepted.*

PRESENTER TERMS & CONDITIONS
As an accepted presenter you agree to: ·
Confirm that you will present at ThinkFest, when notified of your acceptance.

Assist with promotional efforts at ThinkMedia’s direction and guidance.
*
Adhere to all ThinkFest deadlines provided by ThinkMedia.
Let ThinkMedia schedule your session at a day and time it sees fit, taking into account your specific circumstances. ThinkMedia further reserves the right to change the schedule or cancel the series as it sees fit.

Commit to deliver a presentation accessible to a diverse range of ages, including children (12 years+)

Attend the conference in person to present the paper in the live session (no remote presentation unless special arrangements have been made and confirmed). ·

Grant permission to be video and/or audio recorded and assign to ThinkMedia permission to distribute and/or broadcast the recording at its discretion.

Submit final presentation materials & AV/IT requirements to Think Media by June 15, 2019. ·

Authorize ThinkMedia to use your name, likeness, photograph, biographical data and information provided in your proposal in connection with the use and promotion of the series.

Confirm that to the best of your knowledge, the presentation does not violate any proprietary or personal rights of others (including copyright, trademark and privacy rights), and contains nothing defamatory or otherwise unlawful. Presenter has the full authority to enter into this agreement and have obtained all necessary permissions or licenses from any individuals or organizations whose material is included or used in the presentation.

Arrive at the presentation venue one hour before the scheduled start.

Find a suitable replacement at no cost to Think Media and subject to ThinkMedia’s approval, should you find yourself unable to deliver your scheduled presentation.

PRESENTER COMPENSATION · Each presenter will be entitled to a personal, complementary admission and two admissions for friends and family, for each session of the series.
